Shad Makes it Through Surgery!
May 27, 2009 by Jeremy

This is what a fighting chance at life looks like!
But Shad’s dad couldn’t stand it… he said he didn’t want to see his son like this. He’ll return to ICU once they take out the tubes and have him more stable.
Nonetheless, Shad’s father understands the ramifications of this life-saving surgery and is full of joy and hope today.
From Shad’s family, Roman’s family, and all of us at the Preemptive Love Coalition “thanks!”

There is a powerful arm of hope that modern science can extend to the needy; so often it is never extended. It takes the will of many people to command the arm to move. These people are the hands of God touching lives through their service, financial giving, volunteering, creativity, and perseverance in the face of challenges.
I’m so happy for Shad! May he grow older and also experience the other side of blessing, that is, the blessing of giving.
