Some internships are merely a cover for no-cost, slave labor. Not here. We are looking for passionate people who will own PLCʼs vision, make it their own and move with us to help shape a better future for the people of Iraq. We want more than just your skills — we want your heart, your family, and your friends on board, too.
Though your work with PLC wonʼt always be glamorous or exciting, we do promise that youʼll be given tasks that make a genuine contribution to the work of PLC, tasks that will best utilize your skill set, tasks that are appropriate to your local experience level, and tasks that will challenge you to grow and develop in your ability to practice transformational love through creativity, commerce and compassion.

Internships with international businesses and charity groups look great on resumes. But more importantly than that, your work with PLC this summer will expose you to one of the globally most important regions in human history, to innovative forms of relief and development work and to a growing community of people who want to live by loving — first, last and always.
Your time as an intern will be fun, exciting, enlightening and unique; it will also be tough, confusing, frustrating and perhaps overwhelming at times. In short, youʼll experience life much like we do here–which means it will change you even as youʼre working to change the world.
