Thousands of children in Iraq are becoming increasingly sick to the point that they will no longer be able to go to school or even blow a pinwheel. Pinwheels lying around unused are a tragic symbol of childhood lost.
That’s why in America and beyond we are encouraging you to take up a pinwheel and use it as a symbol of hope for the future of Iraq and her children. The menu below will give you some direction for using a simple pinwheel - the ones you play with, the ones you use as a blanket, and the ones you eat - to raise awareness and funds for the no-end-in-sight-without-our-help health crisis among children in Iraq.
