Human Resources Administrator

Preemptive Love Coalition is a global movement of peacemakers working to heal hearts across enemy lines. We do this primarily by working in polarizing conflict-zones, providing lifesaving heart surgeries to children and medical training and development to doctors and nurses. In Iraq, our portfolio of services is more robust, including emergency aid and relief to families persecuted by terrorism and violence and micro-economic development programs that empower women and men to provide for their own families.

This position is responsible for supporting the human resources operations of Preemptive Love Coalition and will report to the Vice President of Finance and Human Resources.

Location: Mobile/Home work environment
Manager: Vice President of Finance and Human Resources
Start Date: As soon as possible; April 2019

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts for all open positions, including working with hiring managers to create job descriptions, review resumes, schedule interviews, and make offers
  • Maintain and systemize the employee onboarding experience, ensuring consistency
  • Manage payroll process, using ADP, and employee time tracking
  • Serve as the employee benefits administrator (medical, dental, vision, EAP, etc.)
  • Maintain personnel files, ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Other duties as requested and needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 3 years of comprehensive human resources experience
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work remotely, sometimes with minimal direct oversight
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • PHR certification, preferred
