Reach out to a local refugee organization and learn more about how you can help.
People who have come to this country as refugees can be found in almost every community. (If they’re closed for the weekend, make a note to call them first thing Monday.)
Most refugee organizations have constant needs for furniture, clothes, food, and people who are willing to befriend those who are new here. Reach out to a local refugee organization and find out how you can help!
