Justin Blount is an Assistant Professor of Business Law in the Rusche College of Business at Stephen F. Austin State University where he teaches courses in business law and ethics. He previously served for seven years as Associate General Counsel for a publicly traded financial services company. Mr. Blount is admitted to practice law in all state courts in the State of Texas and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Blount holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he graduated magna cum laude, a Juris Doctor from the Baylor University School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
