Preemptive Love Coalition is a non-profit organization I have admired for years. They work primarily in Iraq, Syria, to bring aid to war-torn areas, to those who we don’t always automatically want to love. They have also recently started work at the US-Mexico border to aid asylum seekers and provide them with shelter and necessities to help them feel safe after escaping unimaginable violence.

They wage peace when others wage war. They are peacemakers. They’re not about politics or debates, they just try to love well. That’s something I can get behind. So instead of gifts for my 30th birthday this year would you consider donating to Preemptive Love?
