Hi there! At Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School, our Muslim Student Association has decided to partner with Preemptive Love to help bring peace to communities in war-torn areas. Preemptive Love does work in countries such as Iraq, Syria, Mexico, and more.

As Americans, we have so much privilege by living in a first world country in the 21st century. We have access to resources such as food, water, healthcare, etc. But many people who seek asylum are denied even basic human rights, and the numbers of displaced communities are only growing. War, famine, and death lurk in these countries without mercy, leaving thousands of innocent women and children to fend for themselves. This is why we believe in the importance of helping others. To show everyone that every person-no matter their race, religion, or background-deserve to be treated as a human being.
