World history is replete with the cycle of violence repaid with more violence. That cycle can only be broken by mercy, forgiveness, and unconditional love – a love that goes beyond what is comfortable and what is safe.
This is why I believe in the work Preemptive Love is doing around the globe. Preemptive Love goes where it’s dangerous, where violence thrives, to reach people desperately in need.
My heart is particularly drawn toward the people and work in the nations of Syria and Iraq. Preemptive Love goes beyond nationality, race, and creed to help these wonderful people whose lives have been torn by unimaginable violence.
