My name is Marvin Read IV. I have lived in the Phoenix Metro Area in Arizona my whole life. I currently attend Arizona State University where I am studying sustainability and political science. Right now I work at an elementary school where I introduce kids to topics like citrus, ornithology and composting in the school’s garden. Using my skills working with children, I will to introduce English to Yazidi child refugees in Iraq with Preemptive Love this summer. I really enjoy working with children and seeing them attain new knowledge and skills. I hope to have a lasting impact on my future students like my current students have done for me.
