Iran and the US have had a volatile relationship for decades.

US President George W. Bush famously declared Iran part of an “Axis of Evil” in 2002. More recently, Iran’s nuclear program has been the subject of intense controversy, brinkmanship, and diplomacy. Sanctions, meanwhile, have crippled Iran’s economy.

Caught in the middle of a geopolitical conflict are Iran’s people—and especially children who have no way to get the lifesaving medical care they need.

Preemptive Love in Iran

Preemptive Love supported five heart surgery missions to Iran from 2015 to 2016, saving dozens of lives and equipping local medical staff to be the long-term solution to their country’s medical needs.
